Kalyn began acting with the hopes of increasing representation for LGBTQ+ folk in television and film. Always a student, they have studied with renowned teachers including Terry Knickerbocker and is currently in a member of Alex Collins's The Approach Mastermind Group, a year long training program. 

You can catch Kalyn recurring in the AppleTV+ comedy The Big Door Prize from creator David West Read (Emmy and Golden Globe winning writer for Schitt’s Creek). They can also be seen as the French-yelling-bitch in HBO's Lovecraft Country created by Misha Green and produced by J.J. Abrams and Jordan Peele. Their propensity for movement and love of a challenge has built them an arsenal of special skills including fight choreography, dialects, horseback riding, and scuba diving.
